Goodbye Wawasan 2020 (Updated: 6/1)

Wawasan 2020, 2020
Satu pandangan jauh
Bukan impian malah kenyataan
Bersama kita jayakan.

That's the song that I sang for 12 years during schooldays.

Well, here am I. In the last day on 2020. The reality is, what happens today is far beyond from the Wawasan 2020 that we envisioned 29 years ago.

Most obvious is, we have no flying cars. Haha. The rest, is all explained in my previous post. Covid-19.........

Anyway, I've just came home from having New Year steamboat dinner with Loong's big family. So merry & bright. Haha. Kids are screaming with joy, running around the house & most important, receiving presents! I gave some presents to them too. Hehe.

And... I forgot to take a wefie with Loong. Great. πŸ˜‘

Above all, thank God for all that we have been through, thick & thin during this pandemic, safe & sound with family. My wish for 2021 is may the pandemic be cured soon, parents safe, friends & family safe, continue to pray for the best, and stay alive with Christ.

Here's a throwback of photos for the last few weeks.

6/12: Korean BBQ at Secret Garden (So-called super-early-Christmas-dinner) πŸ˜—πŸŽ„⛄🍜πŸ₯©πŸ–πŸ”₯
Why these faces.... πŸ˜’πŸ˜‘

By the way, this guy looks familiar. πŸ˜‘

Beautiful moth I found outside my house. I set it free after that.

11/12: Steamboat with Loong, Soon, Julia & Mike at Esther's house & celebrate Mike's birthday. πŸ˜‹
After that I drank the amazing Dalgoba that made me can't sleep the whole night. I mentioned that in my previous post. Haha.

16/12: Bought my 1st Kinder Joy egg and won a Doraemon. AHAHA πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£

17/12: Lunch at Happy place & dinner at Golden (88 Marketplace)

20/12/2020: Gift exchange with Karen & Chris! Thanks for the thoughtful Christmas presents! πŸŽ„⛄🎁

This year we're unable to gather for Christmas. Therefore, I cut & pasted ourselves into a photo. Merry Christmas, God bless & stay safe!

Red wine from Chris

Later that day... HOBBYCON!!!!

21/12: Winter Soltice Festival.

22/12: Bake Christmas volcano shaped 😐fruit cake for Mom's birthday on 23/12. I cheated cos I was using ready-made flour. Haha.

I've been wearing this shirt every year for Christmas only since I was 10.
It was given by my cousin Andrea in NZ. πŸ’•

Went for a drink at Gen. Z @ Damai after having dinner at my house. πŸ₯€πŸŽ„☃️❄️

Haha. Doraemon presents πŸ˜†

Another DIY project.

Handmade Christmas outfits for Kobe figurine.
Right one is inspired by T'Challa's (Black Panther) costume.
RIP Kobe Bryant & Chadwick Boseman.
We lost too many talented souls in 2020, both young & old.

26/12: My last DIY project Year 2020 - Nobita's Desk.

That's it! It's a wrap! See you next year! I mean, tomorrow. πŸ˜—

2 More Days To Go Before New Year

Been quite lazy today at office. You know why? Besides the holiday mood still going on, there's only me & Henry working in the office.

Towards, the end of the year, even today, bad things keep happening to people around me. Friends, colleague... I hope they find peace in God. 2020 is really a bad, bad year I would say.

But there are still some love & blessings that I got from Loong, friends, family & colleague. Feeling blessed.

I will post more tomorrow tonight. Mostly is a recap/throwback of what had happened for the month of Dec.

Cheers,
Leo. ❤️

Dalgona, I Don't Love You.

Yes. This is the coffee that drives me nuts. Dalgona Coffee is its name. It has got me up all night with my heartbeats racing like mad since i drank it at 4pm. It's now 1.40am.

Delicious it is. But tried it once in my life it's enough. At least I tried. Should I say it's worth the suffering? πŸ˜‘

Anyway, thanks to my colleague, Mike, who treated me, Loong, Soon, Julia & Esther at Xing Fu Tang after we celebrated his birthday. Haha... We had fun eating steamboat for lunch at Esther's house. It's the 1st time that I hangout with colleagues during my offday.

Ok. I gotta try to get some sleep. With palpitating heartbeat. Tomorrow I'll be going to Keningau with Loong cos he has plotter servicing work to do.

Good night.
