Sabah 16th State Election (PRN) 2020 - Polling Day

As I'm writing this post, the "ship" has sunken. We have lost.

Reason:

1. Majority of the rural areas voted for BN/PN/PBS. Mostly thought that Warisan did nothing for the passed 2 years. Well, it is their chose to U-turn back to the other side. Warisan supporters is just a minority who hopes for a change for our future generation.

2. Covid-19. Many chose not to come out to vote.

I have no mood to say anything now. Here is a video of me on my way to cast my vote, full of hope. Now it's just... whatever. May God bless & help us all.

I did my part but we have failed & lost.

Sabah 16th State Election (PRN) 2020

Well, well, well. 2 years have passed after the victory of Pakatan Harapan took over as Govt back in April 2018 and Perikatan Nasional (ex-BN members) has snatched back the rulling from them to become Govt on March 2020. However, Warisan maintains as the rulling party of our state. If I were to tell you the chronology of the polical events aka mess happened this year, I may need a few hours to type it all here but I'm just too lazy to do so.

Fast forward to today which is the eve of PRN Sabah ke-16. How did it happen?

By the way, Covid-19 2nd wave is happening at this moment okayyy... Sabah is hitting the highest amount of positive cases every single day. It is expected many may opt not to go out for voting. 😷

Here you go... πŸ˜© πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
Chronology of events that led to Sabah's State Election:

Dramas, dramas, and more dramas. 🐸🐸🐸

Meanwhile, in the peninsula...

I have no idea how our next generations are going to study Malaysian history. I also pity the buku teks Sejarah author. πŸ˜…

Happy Voting. I hope Warisan maintains as our state Govt. Stay safe.

Sandakan trip 12th - 14th Sept 2020 (Day 1)

On 12th - 14th Sept, me & Loong went for an adventurous trip back to our hometown. It was so fun! All we did is eat, eat, eat. Haha.. What else do you expect in a seafood land right. We never got enough time to test all the food in Sandakan! πŸ€£

Here are some photos to summarise Day 1:

Jambatan Tamparuli

Tamparuli River

Mark's Lodge (Photo from Google)
When we arrived, I think the whole hotel only has 4 or 5 guests.
So empty. Half of the building is under renovation. We stayed at 1st floor.

Hotel room looks ok but the TV only has 2 channels. Sports and TVB. I guess guests here never complain about TV channels before. So they didn't add more channels.
Be prepared to be bored at night because Sandakan is literally a cowboy town at night.
Even desert shops like 7 Heaven closes at 9.30pm. πŸ™„

Headed to Sim Sim 8th Bridge to eat seafood for dinner.
I used to hangout at this bridge with my cousins when I was young. I miss the memories a lot.
Now it has become a tourist spot.

Purple disco lights welcoming you. More disco lights to shock you later.
Makes you feel like you're in Thailand or Tokyo. 🀣

Yea... State Election is coming. Undilah YB Frankie Poon. 😁

Loong also took a photo on the bridge to proof he was here. πŸ˜†

See, I told you. Sawadika...

More purple hues! Irasshaimase!
Loong went here a month ago. Seriously, every dishes you see is just Barney purple.

Need more spaces? Extend to the ends of the world - or sea.

You may thought we're going to eat at the purple restaurant but nope.
We went to its neighbour. Locals call this place as LO GUAI SENG.
Maybe it's the owner's name.
In the morning, they sell fishes and dried seafood.
At night they only do cooking business.

Mask on

Mask off. Just for 1 sec.

Guess whut. We have waited for our orders for 1.5hrs.
We definitely didn't expect that.
Starving. Good food comes with great responsibilities patience.

Tamagotchi has pooped. Gotta sweep it.

Food... Where are you... More and more people are coming and we aren't served yet.
Seems like they keep serving tables that come after us because they have more people.
Not fair. Hmm. πŸ˜’

Finally food came!!! Oh. It's just rice.
By the time the dishes came, our rice is cold. πŸ˜—
We nearly wanted to ask for sweet soy sauce to eat with plain rice.

Ah finally our fish came!!!

MMM! Can't resist to eat the fish!
Fried fish with sweet soy sauce.

More sweet soy sauce! πŸ˜†
Gigantic prawns cooked with sweet soy sauce!

BURP... So satisfied... You can't see the fish anymore cos I have ate every single bit of it.
Wuahaha...

Before we go, I spotted another "Tokyo" restaurant next to the purple restaurant.
Very cool lighting for photography. 😝

Promoting Restoran Sim Sim but we actually didn't went in to eat.
Sorry boss. 😝

Then around 9.30pm, we headed to Crowd99, IJM, because we couldn't make to to 7 Heaven as they are closed. IJM is the current "youngster's nightlife" place in Sandakan.

Meow. Loong loves cheese cakes.

German-something-something-cheesecake. I forgot the name. 🀣

Dragon fruit juice

Here comes the starring of the night. Mango yogurt ice cream & waffle. So delicious!
All these cost RM40.20 include taxes. Price is kind of comparable with KK price range.

And to end the night, lets watch in awe as cars queuing at McD as if they have never tasted it before.
Welcome to Sandakan. πŸ˜—

DIY Knitted Tamagotchi Cover

Owning a Tamagotchi is not complete with protection armour. Due to it's so fragile and so expensive, it needs super extra care when handling it. Just like holding a real egg. Hahaha...

After watching few DIY knitted cover tutorials from youtube, i managed to knit one but it's not exactly like how people knitted it. I improvised a bit.

Here it is! UNICORN RAINBOW POOP TAMAGOTCHI COVER!! πŸ€£πŸ¦„πŸŒˆπŸ’©

Ain't it cute right!! 🐣
I'm gonna knit more in future. πŸ˜†
